What’s new on ManyCam 6.4 for Mac?

• Improved effect management UI panel
• Added custom Lower Third support
• Removed obsolete effects from the default Effects library

Effect Management Panel

For many online teachers and other Mac users, the ability to manage effects and object productively is vital. So, we’ve improved the effect management UI panel to make your live videos even better.

Now, the effects panel on ManyCam has a new user interface (UI), that makes it easier to organize your objects, masks, backgrounds and all other effects. They are grouped in folders, and you can create your folders as well. It’s easier to choose, apply and overall manage all the effects.

Added custom Lower Third support

Many users want to be able to create their own Lower Thirds, and this is the first step towards that. We are building a lower third library as well where you’ll be able to choose and add your favorites to ManyCam. The added custom Lower Third support is the foundation that will improve the lower thirds feature and will make it more customizable soon.

Removed obsolete effects from the default Effects library

To make effects’ organization easier, we removed the old effects that came with ManyCam. Now, ManyCam is lighter to download and install. Since we have a huge library of effects online, it’s easier for you to choose the effects that are valuable to you.

Access our effects page, find the effects you like, download and add them to your ManyCam.   

Resolved several crashes, bug fixes & stability improvements

Thanks for your feedback and our developers’ team dedication to ManyCam, we were able to resolve several crashes and bugs. Most importantly, the overall stability of ManyCam has been improved, and it’s performing better than ever on Mac platforms.
