Some of our Windows XP users may receive the following warning message when installing ManyCam 4:<\/p>\n

\"Windows<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This warning message basically advises users that the software they are installing has not passed the Windows Logo Testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP, but does not mean that ManyCam is a harmful software to download. You can still install ManyCam by clicking on Continue Anyway<\/b>.<\/p>\n

This warning message may still pop-up every now and then, which can be annoying. Here are some instructions on how to disable it:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Right click on\u00a0My Computer<\/b>\u00a0then select\u00a0Properties<\/b>\u00a0to open System Properties.<\/li>\n
  2. In \u201cSystem Properties\u201d dialog box, select the\u00a0Hardware<\/b>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on\u00a0Driver Signing<\/b>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n
  4. In the \u201cDriver Signing Options\u201d dialog box, under \u201cWhat actions you want Windows to take?\u201d section, three levels of actions on digital signature verification is provided, with default as\u00a0Warn \u2013 Prompt me each time to choose an action<\/strong>. Default will generate the Hardware Installation or Software Installation dialog box as shown earlier whenever an unsigned driver is detected. To suppress and skip the warning dialog and install unsigned driver automatically, select the radio button for\u00a0Ignore \u2013 Install the software anyway and don\u2019t ask for my approval<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. In \u201cAdministrator option\u201d section, tick the check box for\u00a0Make this action the system default<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Click on \u201cOK<\/b>\u201d twice to exit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
